Christmas activity idea for December
– make your own vanilla wreath mobile
Make your own fun Christmas mobile with vanilla wreaths – A small Christmas tree you can eat. Watch a video on Instagram of the vanilla mobile.
At our place we love Christmas, mobiles and vanilla wreaths! And we think it's fun to experiment. You can also try it yourself:
You make the mobile like this:
Cut some wooden sticks in different lengths, and tie them together with a ribbon as shown in the picture, in shape of a Christmas tree. Make sure there is enough space to hang a vanilla wreath at both ends of each stick. Finally, balance the hanging point of each stick so that the stick hangs horizontally. Finish with a Sirius mini star on top of the mobile, which is clamped around the hanging ribbon.
Hang your work up and enjoy it for a few days. (...until you can't stop eating it!)
Make your own version with a different color of ribbon, different lengths, and different embellishments.
