Create your own ornament from this template. Print directly on the paper you want to use and cut out the shapes with a pair of scissors.
Christmas paper cuttings is a old and cosy Danish tradition. Families gather during December to create their own home made decorations - and the creative heads - of all ages - can experiment with coloured paper, scissors and glue. Maybe this will inspire you to do so too, as a fun activity for the whole famliy.
You will need:
- Paper in A4 format (210x297 mm) - use several colours. It is recommended to use thick paper up to 170 g/m2 (if you use heavier paper you will need to fold the paper over a sharp edge, like a ruler)
- Scissors
- Paper glue, we recommend book binding glue
- wire/strings to hang the ornaments
