The Tinderbox by Hans Christian Andersen is about a soldier who acquires a magical tinderbox from an old witch. With it, he can summon three powerful and giant dogs to grant his wishes. He uses this power to gain wealth and eventually win the love of a princess. When the king and queen try to stop him, he calls upon the dogs to overthrow them and becomes the new ruler.
