Cubillusion Mobile /4 - a hanging decoration - optical illusion art that tricks your eyes
The Cubillusion Mobile honours OP-Art from 1960'ies. Artists have always searched ways of new expression and in the the 1960ies Optical Illusion Art became a big trend. The idea was to make art that pushed our perception of perspective and patterns. Hungarian-French Victor Vasarely was one of the most important OP-artists by whom the Cubillusion Mobile is inspired.
The elements in the mobile look like both the inside and the outside of cubes even though the elements are made of flat pieces of paper. The idea is to trick your eye and give you an experience where you wonder what is going on.
