Elf 2019 - Annual nisse paper art from Livingly
In 1953 Anni & Bent Knudsen created the very first annual "nisse". The tradition of an annual nisse was passed on to Livingly when we took over the company in 2008.
Nisse - the Danish concept for pixie, elf or one of Santas small friends - however a nisse is something completely of it's own sort. The nisse is a small invisible person - as small as a cat or even smaller - living in the attic of the country side farms. The nisse was a grumpy little creature who you did not want to be messing with. He could make the harvest fail or mold in the barn if you did not treat him well. Did you on the other hand treat him well he would take good care of the animals and the houses on the property - and bring luck to you and your family - especially for Christmas.
